My First Baby Goat!
Saturday my goat Chloe had her first kid! I named him Reuben, and he weighs seven pounds. This is the first time that I've had a goat that's had a kid, and I'm really excited! Our grandparents and a good friend of ours, Gary Ball had come over for supper, so we all got to watch. It was a very fun experience.

ReplyDeleteHow ADORABLE!!!!! Babies are so sweet. How special that you got to be there when Rubuen was born.
I have only seen one of our cows freshen..... and I was only about eight.
About how long did it take? You told me yesterday, but I forgot.

Hi Maddie! It only took about twenty minutes, thirty at the most. I thought it went pretty fast.This was only the second or third time I've seen anything born too.
